Pullip Merl Nostalgia: Review

I got the adorable Pullip Merl Nostalgia back in April of this year, and she is by far one of the cutest dolls I've ever seen! This darling little sailor was released back in 2013, just a year after the original and very popular Merl. Although both versions of Merl have the same style outfit and hairstyle ( with the only difference being the color for both), that's about where the similarities between the two end. Merl Nostalgia is very much her own doll, and not just a carbon copy of the Merl that came before her!

Pullip Merl Nostalgia Comes With:

- Two hair bows (One large and one small) attached to a barrette
- Red Choker with miniature key pendant
- Sash with key charm
- Red coat with button detailing and pleated hem
-  Sleeveless cream colored dress
-Striped knee high socks
- Faux leather boots with ribbon laces
- White doll stand
- Pullip Merl Nostalgia's trading card

Pros:

- Great quality wig! It's styled very prettily in loose waves and is a beautiful sandy color! It's also very soft and manageable, and the wig cap does not show through! (May vary from doll to doll.)
-  She has a very nice faceup that consists mainly of pink colors with just a touch of shimmery white eye shadow near the inner part of her eyes, giving her a fresh and natural appearance! Her eyebrows are thin and somewhat short and match the color of her wig, and her lashes are simple and are painted a medium brown color. Soft pink blush and pink glossy lips finish off her look!
-  Her eyes are a bright, vivid blue that really stand out, especially in pictures!
-  Most everything about her stock is beautifully made and is of good quality, despite being made of such light material! Her boots are especially well-made, and actually seem like they could be real shoes!
- Her shoes are very secure and fit her feet very well! There should be no issues with them falling off.
- She's very versatile and would look amazing in almost any clothing style and various different wigs!
- Type 4 body!

Cons:

- The key charm on her sash can fall off, and it seems like it coming loose is a very common problem.

Neutral:

- She doesn't come with any extra props, unfortunately. It would have been nice if she did, but most of the later Pullip releases tend not to come with much anyway.

The Final Verdict:

Pullip Merl Nostalgia is without a doubt, absolutely worth getting, whether you've got the original Merl or not! There's nothing really negative to say about her at all, and she's sweet looking and adorable. Also, as I had mentioned before, she would look good in just about anything! Currently, she is sold out on Pullip Style and on Groove's website, but she can still be easily obtained at a fair price on amazon and dollmarket! So, if you have her eye on her, I wouldn't hesitate to grab her while you still can!

Pullip Galene: Review

Pullip Galene is the newest addition to my Pullip family, and I couldn't be more happy to welcome her to it! I've had my eye on her for a little while now, and to finally have her is like a dream! Galene is a Creator's Label doll that was released in 2012. She's quite a gorgeous doll with an elegant style, and it's a mystery to me as to why she so often gets overlooked! I don't know if people are put off by all the grey she's wearing, but I think that it really is unfortunate, because she's a real beauty, and this is coming from someone who usually gravitates to the more brightly colored dolls with crazy colored hair!

Pullip Galene Comes With:

- Floral headdress that ties around the back of her head
- Lavender coat with silver button detailing
-  Choker neck dress embellished with beads at the front and sheer netted skirt with multiple layers
- Gray ruffled shorts
- Detachable ruffled train skirt that snaps on
- Lace arm warmers
- Beaded bracelet that ties around her wrist with ribbons
- White thigh high stockings with lace lining the tops
- Beaded snap-on ankle cuffs with tasseled bottoms
- Brown heeled Mary Jane shoes
- White chair
- Pullip Galene's Trading Card
- Black doll stand

Pros:

- Her wig is an unusual dark gray color that isn't a common color found on most Pullip dolls and is styled into thick, full ringlets!
- No wig cap showing! (May vary from doll to doll.)
- Pretty faceup! Her eyebrows are straight and fairly light, and are a bit on the thin side. Her eye makeup is simple and not overdone. She has smokey grey and brown eye shadow, and has a bunch of faint, thin lines painted right above her crease line, which is kind of an interesting detail. She also has brown eyeliner around the top of her eyes and lots of thin brown lashes bordering the bottom of her eyes. The inner rims of her eyes are also painted pink! Finishing off her look, she has light pink blush and beautifully painted lips that are nude and coral pink in color and are shaped in a way that make them look very full and pillowy!
- Amazing black eyelids with shiny black eyeliner!
- Her eyechips don't have any sparkle or painted designs in her pupils, but they're a very interesting greenish-gray color and are somewhat transparent looking!
- Her stock outfit is extremely well made and so detailed! There's ribbon, ruffles, and beading everywhere, and it's all so lovely! Her coat is versatile and can be used with other outfits, and the detachable skirt is a fun way to change her look up a bit.
- Her nails are actually painted! It's a really neat touch! There definitely aren't very many Pullip dolls released that have painted nails, and actually Galene is the first out of all my dolls to have that detail!
- The chair she comes with is really nice looking and also very well-made! It is made from plastic but it has been painted to look like wood, and the seat of it is actually somewhat soft and lightly cushioned! It needs to be assembled and the pieces snap together, but it is also still quite sturdy. It really is a fun prop to use in pictures, too!
- Shoes stay well on her feet!
- Type 4 body!

Cons:

- Like most curly haired dolls, her wig is quite frizzy, and the shorter curls near the top of her head are a bit strange looking.
- Her shoes are a really soft plastic, which unfortunately means that the heels of her shoes are prone to bending under her weight. It's a pain to deal with when placing her on her stand, especially.
- Her headdress has a tendency to fall off her head.
- Her stock outfit has a lot of thin, delicate materials on it that can easily tear if you aren't careful.

Neutral:

- She's slightly pricier than some of the other Pullip releases, but it isn't too steep. Pullip Style currently has her for a bit less than normal at $120.

The Verdict:

If you are considering getting Galene but are a bit hesitant about whether or not you should buy her, I will have to encourage you to take the plunge and  do it, because she is worth it! I cannot stress enough how unbelievably stunning she is! She is really one of a kind and definitely not one anyone should pass up on! I understand how some may feel that her stock is too busy, but if you look past that, you will see just how lovely she is and that she can actually look great in different clothing styles and wigs!

SDCC Pullip Tokidoki Super Stella: Review

Today's review is on Pullip Super Stella! This bright and colorful super hero was one of two exclusive releases for San Diego Comic Con 2014, and is also part of the Tokidoki series! On top of that, she's a limited edition doll! (It is unknown how many of her were made.) As soon as I had set my eyes on her, I was just so excited and knew she was a doll I had to have! The bright neon colors on her stock outfit and wig just drew me to her instantly! She just looked like she'd be such a fun addition to have in my collection, so I didn't want to pass her up!

Pullip Tokidoki Super Stella Comes With:

- Star-shaped hair clip with lightning bolt and a Tokidoki character printed on it
- Satin hot pink posable cape with Tokidoki characters printed on the inside
- Sleeveless faux leather top with sequined Tokidoki logo
- Faux leather gloves with blue plastic lightning bolt detailing
- Gold belt with felt diamond "buckle" held together by velcro
- Blue skirt with white and yellow felt stars and a stiff, sequined under layer
- Opaque neon tights
-  Faux leather thigh high boots with blue lightning bolts printed on the front
- Yellow plastic staff with a felt diamond placed at the top of it
- Doll stand

Pros:

- The box she comes in is very sleek. (Like most of the boxes for SDCC Pullip releases are.) It's also covered in some very cute artwork of various Tokidoki characters!
- She's able to hold her staff! She has a hand that can grasp, similar to Sfoglia's and Varele's!
- Her wig is such a nice shade of blue with white streaks and darker blue accents in it! It's quite soft, too and is very manageable! (May vary from doll to doll.)
-  Beautiful silver glitter eyechips! Looking closely, you can also see flecks of blue and red glitter mixed in with the silver! They really are one of her most striking features!
- Her slightly tanned complexion is a nice change from the usual fair complected dolls!
- Simple yet pretty faceup! She has thick blue eyebrows that match her hair and give her a determined expression, brown and white eye shadow in her crease and the inner corners of her eyes, cleanly painted black lashes, pink blush, and opaque pink punch lips painted to make it like like she's smiling slightly! Her lids are painted a sienna brown with black liner.
- The wire at the hem of her cape allows you to bend and pose it in lots of fun ways!

Cons:

- There are some parts where her wig netting shows through. (May vary from doll to doll.)
- I'm not a fan of the material used on her top, gloves, and boots. It looks a bit cheap and can crease and wrinkle.
- Her boots in general don't look very sturdy and like the soles can come apart.
- She's unable to hold her staff while she's wearing her gloves.
-  The logo on her shirt as well as the diamond buckle on her belt can potentially get torn off. They aren't held in place very securely.
-The wire in her cape can poke out at the ends.

Neutral:

-  While her faceup is still nice, I still think it would have been nice to add more color or have more interesting elements to it. I would have liked it if they maybe painted her lids a fun color like bright pink with maybe blue or yellow liner, or maybe wing out her eye shadow into the shape of lightning bolts to go along with her theme. They could have done so much more with her!

- Her cape hooks on to little loops of thread on her top. For the most part, it works well enough, but they can become unlatched easily when posing her.

- She's pricier than most dolls, being priced at $150 on pullipstyle.com. This is probably due to the fact that she is limited edition, a San Diego Comic Con release, and a collaboration doll. If you have your eye on her, I suggest checking ebay and maybe seeing if there are any bids or buy it now listings that have her at a lower price. You might get lucky!

The Verdict:

Overall, I have to say I love Super Stella! I know she may not be everyone's cup of tea, what with her bright colors and the style of her costume being reminiscent of something Barbie might wear, but I think she's just so much fun to pose and play with that I'm not too bothered by it. I think she would also be very fun to redress in some other bright and funky fashions as well!

Pullip Regeneration Paja: Review

I recently had won an auction on Pullip Regeneration Paja on ebay! As most of you probably already know, Pullip Regeneration Paja is part of the Regeneration series that was released in 2012. The Regeneration series was basically a series that made up of re-released, updated versions of older, beloved Pullip dolls. Pullip Regeneration Paja is the new and remade version of Pullip Paja, who was released back in 2005! Unfortunately, I do not have the original Paja, so I cannot properly compare the two. (For those of you who want to see the differences between the original Paja and Regeneration Paja, I recommend that you visit  this page!) However, I will say that I am quite happy with her and think she's really adorable! Having Seen her pictures, I had always thought she was really cute, but I had no idea just how much so!

Pullip Regeneration Paja Comes With:

- Felt dinosaur suit with snap-on buttons in the front and netted lining on the inside of her hood
- Yellow and orange polka dot onesie
- Yellow polka dotted socks with lace
- A pair of plush claw slippers
- Cardboard popup book
- A mug of coffee with Paja's name printed on it
- Plush crescent moon pillow with a small dinosaur sewn onto it
- Pullip Regeneration Paja's trading card
-  Doll stand

Pros:

- No wig cap showing through! (May vary from doll to doll.)
- She comes with quite a lot of little accessories! They're fun to use as props!
- Bright and colorful faceup that really stands out! She has thick rounded eyebrows that make her look cheerful and lively! Her lashes are a pretty salmon color that contrasts nicely with the yellow-green eye shadow in her crease! She has orange blush on her cheeks and bright orange glossy lips!
- Her eyechips match her eye makeup very well. They are green and yellow and have cute stars painted on them!
-  Her suit is very soft and too adorable for words! It really does remind me of a kigurumi , with the way that it's made and how loose and baggy it is! (Kigurumi are over-sized onesies with hoods made to look like various different animals and anime mascots. They're generally worn indoors and as pajamas. ) It's very soft to the touch and the snaps make it really easy to take off her suit and put it back on! It's also fairly durable. I have no big complaints about any of the pieces of her stock outfit in general.
-  I like that you have the option to have her wear her dinosaur suit or just her pajamas on their own!
- It is really easy to pose her even when she is wearing her suit! Most of the time, Pullip dolls with suits or costumes are plush, limiting the doll's movement, but you don't have to deal with that problem with Paja.
- You can place her on her stand while she's wearing her suit! The metal clasp that goes around her waist scrunches up her suit a bit, but it doesn't cause permanent wrinkles or  damages to it in any way.
- Her dinosaur suit does not cause any staining and is completely safe for her to wear!
- Her slippers surprisingly stay on her feet quite well! I have mine wearing both her socks and her slippers at the same time, so I'm not sure whether or not they help with keeping them on, but so far I've had no issues with them falling off.
- Type 4 body!
-She is very affordable! ( I won her for $80 on ebay, and she's sold on pullipstyle.com for $92.)

Cons:

- Her wig is unfortunately not the best quality. It is prone to becoming frizzy and it kind of has an odd texture and the ends of her hair seem to stick together, making it hard to brush. Her bangs are also cut a bit strangely and go past to where her temples would be. It's a bit hard to explain, but it does look kind of odd. They also have a tendency to stick up a little and I had to use some of my trusty anti-frizz serum to have them stay down.
- The eyes on her suit aren't glued on completely. I have no idea why they couldn't use more glue so that the eyes could stay more firmly in place. They can more than likely fall off over time.
- Her popup book is made of cardboard and can get bent or torn easily.

Neutral:

- Her eye lids are completely bare. There's no color and they don't have the usual strip of black liner painted on them that most Pullip dolls have. It's nothing that I really mind, as I feel that her faceup makes up for it.
- Her hair is really long and can get in the way, but it's easy enough to tie her hair back into a ponytail and tuck it away into her suit to help keep it in place.
- There were some loose threads hanging off of her polka dot pajamas and her socks, but it was taken care of easily with a pair of scissors.

The Verdict:

I'm a fan and I highly recommend getting this version of Paja! She's extremely cute and  much more affordable and than the original and she also has a Type 4 body, which is the best Pullip body type to date so far. (The original Paja has a Type 3 body, which is commonly known for cracking and breaking at the wrists.)  She really is a great buy, especially considering how much she comes with! She definitely would be a great choice for those who are new to Pullip collecting and are looking to get their first doll! I also think that she'd be a great alternative choice for those who aren't willing to spend so much on the original Paja but have had their eye on her.

Pullip Karen: Review

Pullip Karen is a vision of loveliness with her rich, chocolate brown curls, luxurious wine colored stock outfit, and her remarkably done faceup! Her entire look has a somewhat mature and elegant air to it, but it also is fun and interesting, and her expression makes her seem so sweet and innocent! All of these traits have been blended together beautifully and in such a way to where nothing about her seems odd or out of place! It's apparent that there was a lot of hard work and detail put into her design! She is truly an artistic masterpiece!

Pullip Karen is a collaboration doll between Mitsukazu Mihara x Juliette et Justine and Groove. Her design was based off of the cover illustration of Vol. 45 of the Gothic & Lolita Bible from back in August 2012! The doll is very well done! She resembles the cover art perfectly!

Pullip Karen Comes With:

- Red and gold bow headband
- Satin top hat
- Two clip on hair extensions (similar to Pullip Varele and Pullip Canele's)
- Long sleeved white blouse with ruffles, lace, and a bow placed at the neck
- Satin burgundy dress with tassels, a strand of pearls placed across the chest, and bow detailing on the skirt, as well as a printed underskirt and black petticoat with lace underneath it for added volume.
-. Detachable ruched sash (I do not really know how else to describe it, but it is placed right around her waist and is held in place with velcro It could possibly be part of her skirt that they just decided not to sew onto the dress itself.)
- White stockings
- Burgundy heels with ribbon and organza flowers on the back of them.
- Pullip Karen's trading card
- Doll stand

Pros:

- The wig is a nice shade of brown and her curls are really pretty!
- The wig cap does not show through! (May vary from doll to doll.)
- Her eye chips are a pretty bluish-grey!
- As I've said already, her faceup is exquisite My personal favorite thing about it is the way her eye makeup and eyelashes were done It's so dramatic looking, and she has so many lashes that are done so perfectly and are placed so close together! I'm really impressed with how that was done! Her lids are painted beige, and the rest of her faceup is simple, consisting of light pink blush and glossy pink lips with painted teeth to balance everything out! Her brown eyebrows match her wig and are slightly lifted upward to emphasize her happy and friendly appearance!
-She comes with a lot of head accessories that are fun to mix and match and change out They're all very cute and very easy to put on her There was no struggle tying on her hat at all!
-The bows on her skirt and the strand of pearls are pinned on, allowing them to be removed completely or placed elsewhere on her outfit if you choose Her sash is also detachable, making it easy to modify her look a bit!
- The underskirt has a beautiful and eye-catching print that adds visual interest to her outfit!
- Her shoes are adorable I love the little ribbons placed on the back of her heels I thought it was a nice touch.
- Type 4 body!

Cons:

- Her wig is really frizzy, though that's kind of to be expected with curly wigs Also, while most of her curls are soft, there were a couple of odd, coarse patches that I had to snip off Her extensions have the same issue with frizz. (May vary from doll to doll.)
- Her dress stains I was a little sad to find that it had left such noticeable red stains on the blouse she wears underneath it, so now it can not really be used separately on its own with other outfits.
- Her headband (the one with the large bow) is pretty heavy and falls off of her head easily, even though the band is adjustable and it has a comb to help keep it in place, it does not help.
- The tassels can come undone easily if you touch them too much.
- Her shoes can fall off her feet easily.
-Her outfit is a bit hard to remove and put back on They do not come off very easily and you have to be very careful and patient Also, it is so annoying putting her outfit back together, especially trying to pull her dress over her blouse sleeves. My Pullip Karen's arm accidentally popped out of her socket and I only partially removed her clothes so I could put it back, and it was a nightmare to deal with.

Neutral:

- Her price may be a little much for some on Pullip Style (she costs $ 127.95), but it needs to be taken into consideration that she is a collaboration doll, and that they always run for a bit more than non-collaboration dolls. Also ,she could be found for a slightly lower cost on amazon, so that would be a good place to look if you want a better deal on her. I got her for $ 99.93 on there with free shipping!

The Verdict:

Pullip Karen has a lot of character and is very unique! I personally think she's very pretty and I adore her! If you're a fan of Juliet et Justine and lolita fashion, this doll would be worth getting! Some may find her outfit overwhelming or even weird looking and unappealing, but that could be fixed with a simple change of clothing! She'd look really pretty in different outfits too, so do not be put off by her stock! It would be a shame to pass up such a beautiful doll just because of that.

Pullip Nahh Ato: Review

Nahh Ato's really special to me because she was an anniversary gift from my husband. I've always thought she was a very pretty doll and had my eye on her before he had bought her for me, so I was beyond elated to finally be able to include her into my collection! Currently, she's the oldest doll I own, having been released back in 2006. She is also my first Jun Planning doll! (Jun Planning is the company that had previously held the rights to Pullip dolls before Groove.) Despite being such an old doll and being sold out, she still can be easily purchased from ebay or amazon for a very reasonable price!

Pullip Nahh Ato Comes With:

- Chain headpiece
- Head scarf made from see-through material with a star and musical note motif
- Choker
- A pair of gloves
- Bralette
- Matching harem pants made with the same material as the scarf
- Magic lamp made of plastic
-  Plush lounge cushion
- Pullip Nahh Ato's trading card
- Metal doll stand

Pros:

- Beautiful raven black wig! It's styled in a cute ponytail with braids. The wig netting doesn't show through, either! (May vary from doll to doll.)
- Her eye chips are blue and green, which contrasts nicely with her skin.
- She has a very unique skin tone! There are only a handful of official release Pullip dolls with a dark complexion. She really adds some diversity!
-  She has a gorgeous faceup consisting mostly of nude colors on her lips and cheeks and a bright pop of turquoise eye shadow in her crease. She also has thick brown straight eyebrows that thin out towards the ends.
- She has lovely dangling earrings! It's not very common for Pullip dolls to come with pierced ears, so this is a very unique detail! They seem to be durable and not likely to break so long as you don't pull at them.
- Her stock outfit is very pretty with nice detailing! Her top is fitted very well and doesn't slide around like I had expected it to. Her pants are a little loose, but stay on well for the most part.
- The lounge cushion is cute and very soft! I really like that she came with her own piece of furniture, too! That's really different and not so common with newer Pullip releases! Her lamp is also really adorable too and a unique prop!
- There are absolutely no issues with her body, which came as a huge surprise for me, as she has a Type 3 body. There are no broken wrists or cracking anywhere on her! (May vary from doll to doll.)
- Easy to find and reasonably priced for an older doll! You can find listings of her priced from $155-$180.

Cons:

- Her headpiece is very fragile, so be warned. It fell apart on me twice, but luckily I had some gold jump rings and was able to replace the ones that it came with and repaired it. I would also be careful with her chain belt, just to be safe.
- Her headpiece can also get caught in her hair if you aren't careful.
- Her hair is pretty frizzy  and the strands that frame her face are messy.
- Type 3 body. While I don't have any issues with my own  Nahh Ato's body, it's still likely that other Nahh Ato dolls will face the common issues that occur with this body type.
- It's really hard to place her on her stand. The part that is supposed to grip around her waist is too big for her and unlike the stands that most Pullip dolls come with now, she comes with a metal stand with a sleek and somewhat slippery surface. This paired along with her lack of shoes causes her to slip a lot and it takes awhile to get her to get her positioned on it just right.

Neutral:

-  Like most older Pullip dolls, she has a shiny face. This may bother some people, but I don't think it particularly detracts from her beauty.
- She doesn't come with any shoes. I really wish she came with some flats or some crackowes. I think that would have been nice, but it's not that big of an issue.
- Her stock material is somewhat thin, but shouldn't really rip or tear too easily.
-She can't close her eyes. The older Type 3 dolls can only wink, but can't keep her eyes closed. The only problem with this is that if you want to take a picture of her with her eyes shut, you can't.

The Verdict:

I love Nahh Ato very much! She's so gorgeous and I'm personally so glad to have her! There isn't another Pullip doll quite like her so I believe she's completely worth getting! If you are looking into getting her, I advise you to get her as soon as you can before the cheaper listings of her become unavailable, otherwise you may have to wait awhile to find another good deal on her.

Dal Cinnamoroll 10th Anniversary Edition: Review

I really love almost anything and everything having to do with Sanrio. If you slap a Sanrio character on something, you can bet that I'll be drooling over it. The 10th Anniversary edition of Dal Cinnamoroll is no exception. I was so excited when I saw this doll because I had really wanted the original Dal Cinnamoroll, but it was out of my price range. By chance I had found the 10th anniversary version which was similar to the original, only much cheaper! (She's $69.99 on amazon!) Of course, there are some differences, such the colors used on their face up and eye chips (the original has green and yellow eye shadow, orange blush and lips, and lighter blue chips) and the extra outfit and accessories that they each come with,  but the resemblance of the doll itself is close enough to the original that I can't really complain about her in terms of appearance. She is undoubtedly a very cute doll!

Dal Cinnamoroll 10th Anniversary Edition Comes With:

- Plush Cinnamoroll suit with polkadot lining on the inside
- Top hat with hooks underneath the brim that attach to the top of the Cinnamoroll suit
- A felt mustache with  a hook and a clear elastic string with a lobster claw clasp
-  A pair of white gloves
- A pair of white plush slippers
- A bag shaped like a teacup
- a cane with a dangling star charm hanging from it
- A mini toy rabbit
- A set of black and blue satin pajamas consisting of a long babydoll tank top and bloomers
- Trading card
-Doll stand

Pros:

- Her wig is a pretty blue color and the short hairstyle is very cute!
- Her faceup is very pretty!  Her eyebrows are light brown/medium blonde in color and straight (the same as the original Dal Cinnamoroll) and she has pink lids and yellow eye shadow, short brown lashes painted on the bottom half of her eyes, pink blush, and light pink lips. I didn't think I'd be very fond of it from looking at her stock photos, but it looks so much nicer in person!
- Her eye chips are a pretty deep blue!
- She comes with a lot of  cute accessories that you can mix and match with her two outfits!
- Her suit is very soft and well-made for the most part and is very easy to put on. The star-shaped button on it is a very cute detail, too!
- Eye mech works perfectly! (May vary from doll to doll.)
- Very affordable!
- Would look cute in lots of other outfits!

Cons:

- Her gloves and slippers are too big for her hands and feet and can fall off easily.
-  The button on the front of her suit can come off easily if you aren't careful.
-  You absolutely cannot place her on her stand while she's wearing her Cinnamoroll suit, so if you plan on using the stand she comes with, you have to either put her in the pajamas she comes with, or another outfit.
- It can be difficult to put her in some poses while she's in her suit because it's kind of bulky.
- Her wig is stiff and has an oddly rough texture to the back of it. (May vary from doll to doll.)
- Her left leg can come off easily. My dolls leg came off before I even had the chance to remove her from her box. (May vary from doll to doll.)
- Her pajamas are made of satin material, which can snag easily onto velcro and nails.
- She can't hold onto her cane very well. It doesn't fit in her hands and the star charm is too heavy and makes it a bit tricky to balance on her hands.

Neutral:

- Her felt mustache could possibly stain her face if you put it on her and leave it there for a long time. I haven't had that happen with my doll, as she is relatively new to my collection, but I would advise that you don't leave it on her for long periods of time just to be safe.
- Her set of pajamas are adorable, but in my personal opinion, I think the original's pajamas are much cuter in comparison.
- I don't normally care too much about the trading cards that the Pullip Family dolls come with, but I do like to keep them. I like how they're made of sturdy cardboard, and it makes me sad that this doll's card is just is printed on a folded sheet of paper.

The Verdict:

While I do think this doll is super adorable, she really isn't a favorite among all the dolls I have. Not to say that she doesn't have a lot of good qualities to her and that I dislike her, it's just that I'm slightly disappointed with her overall quality. Sure she's really cheap, but I feel that there are better dolls to choose from that are roughly around the same price as her. If you really love Sanrio and are still set on getting this doll, just keep in mind some of the issues that you may possibly have with her.

Pullip Snow White: Review

It took me awhile to realize that I actually wanted Pullip Snow White. I have always seen her around while shopping for dolls, and I'd always glance and her and think to myself how cute she was, only to pass her up. Well, I finally came around to getting her, but not without any trouble. It's a bit of a long story, but I basically had originally bought her off of amazon.com, but the seller landed up messaging me saying that they had lost her, and gave me a full refund. After that, I tried looking elsewhere and found a listing on Ebay that I felt was reasonably priced enough, only to get a message from that seller telling me that they didn't ship to APO addresses despite them not specifying that in their listing, and I got my money back from them. Just when I thought getting her just wasn't going to happen, lo and behold, Pullip Style had brought her back in stock, and for much less than what I was originally going to spend on her! So I bought her from there and of course, being as reliable as they are, they shipped her out fast and she arrived within a week! While I went through a lot of hassle for her, I'm so glad I didn't give up on her, because she truly is a lovely doll!

Pullip Snow White Comes With:

- An apple shaped purse with beading and embroidery and a beaded handle
- Red and white dress complete with puffed sleeves, frills, lace, beading, ribbon threading and bows
- White tights
- Red pumps with and ankle strap

Pros:

- Her faceup is much more unique than I thought it would be! She has red, brown, and green eye shadow, with lots of brown lashes and subtle streaks of silver lashes painted along the bottom half  her eyes. I never would have thought of using all of those colors together, but it works and looks nice. She also has rosy cheeks and  red lips that have just the right amount of color to them, not too sheer or too overwhelming.
- Her lids are painted a nice reddish-brown color that matches her red eye shadow!
- Her eye chips have a lot going lots of detail. They appear to be blue with lots of gray streaks surrounding the pupil and have yellow and white dots and lines painted on them to simulate the look of shine. It gives her a lively look!
- Her wig is such a pretty ebony and her curls are so cute! It's also very soft!
-  Her stock outfit and accessories have so many intricate details on them and are very opulent! They're definitely suited for a princess!
- Her shoes fit pretty well and don't slip or fall off!
- Type 4 body!
- Perfect working eye mechs that don't get stuck and aren't stiff! (May vary from doll to doll.)

Cons:

- Her stock has a lot of little pieces that can possibly fall off and get lost, so it would be a good idea to handle her stock as gently as possible.

Neutral:

-  Her wig has some frizz, but nowhere near as bad as most people tend to say. I was expecting it to be full-on frizz fest, like with Pullip Hannah's wig. I may have gotten lucky with that.
- There is some wig netting showing through, which is normally a bad thing, but you have to look really hard to see it, since it blends in very well with her wig.

The Verdict:

Pullip Snow White is definitely a winner in my eyes! Though she does not look exactly like the Snow White most of us are familiar with, she is just as fair and beautiful! She has a very sweet and kind look that's perfect for the character she represents! Whether or not you are a fan of the story of Snow White, there is no denying how stunning she is! If you're planning on getting her, I highly recommend going through PullipStyle to buy her, because she's much more affordable there compared to the listings you might find on amazon and ebay.
